Scope of works:
Supply van pack and 2 man crew to clean out shopping gutters and bag all waste remove spoil from site and leave in a clean and tidy condition.
Time Scale: Three day visit two visits per year.

Method:
A manager from DCS visited the site to assess what works were required to be done and how long the job would take to complete. This enabled a quote to be produced and sent to the client outlining the details of the job and the cost of works. Once the quote was accepted by the client a time was scheduled for the work to take place.

DCS supplied a HPWJ van pack to Ayr Central Shopping Centre to clean all the guttering and remove all waste. All health and safety equipment was provided for by DCS as well as any other materials required to complete the job.

The purchase orders were placed before the job started for any material that would be required over the three days including harnesses, lanyards and reels.

The job was carried out by a two man team operating the van pack over a three day period.

On day 1 the gutters were started to be cleaned by the HPWJ but due to the weather work had to be stopped as the roof was too wet to work on. Day 2 weather permitting the team continued to clean out all the guttering at the shopping centre. The work was completed on day 3 with all the guttering being finished. The site was then left clean and tidy to the client’s satisfaction.

All the work was completed within the three days time scale and without incident.
