The H20XX X-VAC machines come fully equipped with hydraulic breakers to open road surfaces as well as powerful vacuums and specialised wands to enable safe, fast and precise water-assisted digging in any soil conditions with minimal operator effort. The unit uses state-of-the-art water and vacuum technology to excavate soil and rock, carefully locating and exposing underground utility systems. Excavations can be carried out up to 90m from machine location, and with all debris moved directly into the tank, avoiding mess and pollution in sites sensitive to surface disruption, such as busy or congested traffic areas. Another key feature of this technology is that risks of 'strikes' or damage to underground infrastructure is greatly reduced. The X-VACs also benefit from a boiler system and circulation pump to heat water for digging in frozen ground, to enable working in all weather conditions.
